Math magic!
Interactive math learning while playing games. In this course, students:
  • Conceptualize Math concepts
  • Learn through Applied Math and connecting their learning with real world
  • Build models, prototypes, and investigate math in daily life.
Grades: K-2nd
Cost: $220 (10 classes) PTSA. Parent Volunteer needed who will get 50% off tuition.
Time: Monday, 3-4pm
(students meet after school, formal program begins at 3)
Dates: Feb. 4 - Apr 22

Lego Engineering and Storytelling
Using LEGOs, students make games, implement challenges and tell a story about their creation. A fun, engaging way to learn about Math, Science, and Engineering.

Grades: K-5th

Time: Thursday, 3PM-4PM (students meet after school, formal program begins at 3)
Date: Feb. 7 - Apr. 25 (no class non-school days)

Rainy Day Dinner Club - Winter Session
Take a day off from cooking, and have your child bring home dinner! Each week, students learn basic cooking skills while making dinner for their family! Our hands-on cooking classes are fun, delicious, healthy and are a wonderful way to develop enthusiasm for the kitchen, while practicing knife skills and kitchen safety. Each dish feeds a family of 6 and goes home in oven-ready cookware with baking instructions. Our menu changes seasonally!
Grades: 1-5
Dates: Feb. 7th-Mar. 28 no class on non-school days
Time: Thursdays, 2:45-4:15pm
Location: Ardmore café
Cost for 8 weeks: $280 (7 weeks)

Seattle eastside RoboBricks (Coding)

This enrichment program teaches practical software and mechanical engineering principles such as: algorithm planning, formulation, of pseudo code, flow charts. This includes Programming, input and output implementations, loops, multi-threads, keyboard operation, sensor application, calculation commands etc.

Grades: 3rd -5th
Dates: Feb. 6th-Apr. 24th
Times: Wednesday , 12:30PM-1:30PM

Registration for Girls on the Run is now open for girls in grades 3-5!  This program will be held after school, Mondays and Thursdays from March 4th-May 20th.  In addition to increasing running stamina, girls will learn to be joyful, healthy, and confident through a series of fun lessons and challenges.  The season will conclude with all team members completing a 5K.  Register Here:

Kangaroo Math Olympiad!
Ardmore is excited to host Math Kangaroo - an International Mathematics Olympiad for students 1-12th grade. The contest takes place throughout the world on March 21, 2019, from 5:00-6:15 pm. Each student receives a t-shirt, a certificate of participation, and a gift. The fee is $21 (for financial assistance please contact or 425-456-4703)
