From our "Home" site: as of January 6, 2010The project is coming along exceptionally well as we hit the
first of the new year. We have almost all of the metal roof decking down
for the entire building and the roofing operation has begun (notice the black
roof in the upper right corner of the building over the kitchen and plant areas).
The detailing of the structural steel is on-going, connecting and final welding
the beams etc… The light-gauge metal wall framing is well underway and
the rooms are starting to take shape from the outside in.
We have all the floor slabs poured for both the first and second
floor classroom wing, we still have yet to pour the concrete floor slabs in the
GYM and admin areas, but these are progressing and should be complete in the
next couple weeks. Along the lines of the concrete slabs are the two mechanical
rooms at the north and south which are under way for concrete slabs. Framing
for the middle/west mezzanine is well underway and equipment should be going up
to the roof very soon.
